Meet the Faces Behind the Vision

Our Founder's Story
Ms. Jill started her dance career in Southwest Florida. She trained six days a week in ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, modern, classic jazz, musical theater, and jazz funk. In her studio years, she competed with her teammates and traveled the coast with her Performance Team.
In the state of Florida, Jillian was dance and field captain for her high school’s Marching Band. Each year they traveled to Orlando and competed in Battle of the Bands. In 2016, Jillian and her band traveled to California for the Hollywood Christmas Parade aired on live tv. From 2012-2017, she was a Disney Performer in parades, downtown City Walk, and Magic Kingdom Castle Productions. While remaining with her studio, she also studied and performed with the Miami City Ballet from 2011-2013. In addition to all above, Jillian also danced for multiple Make a Wish Foundation Benefits at the Barbara B. Mann.
In her college years, Jillian danced with the SU Dance Company from 2019-2022. With this group she recieved scholarship from the American College Dance Association, and performed works by NYC Jon Lehrer Dance Company. Also during this time, Jillian served as an adjudicator for dance competitions throughout the East Coast states. In 2022, she founded the SU Golden Gulls Dance Team that she still coaches today. The team performed with the Washington Wizards in 2024. Ms. Jill continues to serve as an award winning choreographer and well rounded teacher/coach as she enters this new chapter of her life as a studio owner.

To now have the opportunity to choreograph, train, and mentor athletes in a space I've built and can call my own is a dream come true. I've dedicated my life to this career and will continue to do so with zeal and determination"

Our mission is to offer an environment for all dancers to find joy, purpose and success, however defined, in their training and pursuit of their objectives through the wonderful medium of dance.
To this end, we provide a program not only diverse and inclusive, but a model unparalleled on the Eastern Shore, marrying creative vision and passion with science based, academically trained coaching and strength and conditioning, with over 40 years experience in the professional development of athletes on multiple levels of the competitive spectrum.
From our sprung dance floors, to our wide array of training approaches and equipment, we will protect our dancers while ensuring that the very latest training modalities are available to them. In total, the Crosby Dance Collective is your best choice for a quality dance experience.
